Hole saw Milwaukee 49560032 Cutting depth 4.1 cm Diameter 2.2 cm
The MILWAUKEE 49560032 hole saw is designed for precision cutting with a cutting depth of 41 mm and a diameter of 22 mm. Constructed with a 1.27 mm thick steel body and a Matrix II premium high speed steel tooth segment, this holesaw is suitable for demanding metal and general-purpose applications where durability and accurate hole size are required.
Variable 4–6 TPI tooth geometry with a positive 10° tooth angle delivers a faster, more aggressive cut while improved heat dispersion preserves tooth hardness. Deeper curved gullets improve chip clearance to reduce clogging and heat build-up, and the special tooth shape reduces snagging on thin materials. Teeth are alternate/side set to minimise binding and friction, requiring less feed pressure. The bi-metal construction uses Matrix II HSS teeth laser-welded to a high-alloy steel body and vacuum-hardened to 65 HRC for extended durability and wear resistance.
Fit the holesaw to a compatible arbor and secure it to the drill. Use manual feed only—suitable for hand and pillar drills with manual feed. Start drilling at low speed to establish the cut, then increase speed and apply steady, moderate pressure to allow efficient chip evacuation. Periodically withdraw the holesaw to clear chips and prevent overheating. Use appropriate cutting fluid when working with stainless or high-strength steels to extend tool life.
For best results when cutting metals, use cutting lubricant and maintain moderate feed pressure. Ensure the back plate and arbor are properly seated using the drive pin holes to minimise vibration and preserve hole accuracy.
