Drill Hole Saw Milwaukee 49560062 Cutting Depth 4.1 cm Diameter 3.2 cm
The Milwaukee 49560062 drill hole saw delivers precision cutting with a 41 mm effective cutting depth and a 32 mm diameter. Constructed with a 1.27 mm thick steel body and a bi‑metal tooth area made from Matrix II high speed steel, this holesaw is engineered for durability and consistent performance when cutting a wide range of materials.
A variable 4–6 teeth-per-inch tooth profile with a positive 10° tooth angle yields faster, more aggressive cuts and improved heat dispersion so teeth retain hardness longer. Deeper curved gullets improve chip clearance and reduce clogging and heat build‑up, while the specially shaped tooth angle reduces snagging on thin materials. Alternate/side set teeth minimise binding and friction, and the combination of aggressive tooth geometry with efficient chip removal requires less feed pressure. The bi‑metal construction features Matrix II HSS teeth (8% cobalt) laser welded to a high-alloy steel body and vacuum hardened to 65 HRC for extended life.
Fit the holesaw to a compatible arbor and secure it to the drill. Use a hand drill or pillar drill with manual feed only, ensuring the arbor engages the 4 drive pin holes for correct location. Start at low speed to establish the cut, then increase speed as appropriate for the material. Maintain steady feed pressure — the tooth geometry reduces the required force — and allow chips to clear through the diagonal slots. For thicker or harder materials, use cutting lubricant where suitable and take periodic breaks to avoid overheating.
Use appropriate personal protective equipment, clamp the workpiece securely, and select cutting speeds and lubrication based on material type. This holesaw is optimized for both ferrous and non‑ferrous metals as well as wood and composite panels; for best life span when cutting stainless or hardened steels, moderate speed and cutting fluid are recommended.
