Hole Saw Milwaukee 49560159 Cutting Depth 4.1 cm Diameter 6.8 cm
Hole Saw Milwaukee 49560159 Cutting Depth 4.1 cm Diameter 6.8 cm
The MILWAUKEE 49560159 hole saw is engineered for efficient and durable cutting with a 41 mm cutting depth and a 68 mm diameter. Built with a 1.27 mm thick steel body and a Matrix II bi-metal tooth design, this holesaw combines rigidity and elasticity to retain shape while enabling precise hole cutting across a wide range of materials.
The variable 4–6 teeth-per-inch geometry with a positive 10° tooth angle delivers faster, more aggressive cutting while improved heat dispersion helps the teeth stay sharper for longer. Deeper curved gullets and alternate/side-set teeth provide efficient chip clearance and reduce clogging and binding, requiring less feed pressure. Matrix II premium high-speed steel teeth (containing 8% cobalt) are laser-welded to a high-alloy steel body and vacuum-hardened to 65 HRC for extended life and wear resistance. A thick steel back plate maintains hole accuracy and reduces vibration; diagonal slots assist core ejection and four drive-pin holes simplify arbor location.
Mount the holesaw on a compatible arbor and secure it to the drill following the arbor manufacturer’s instructions. Use manual feed only; the product is suitable for both hand-held and pillar drills with manual feed. Position the holesaw at the marked centre point and start drilling at low speed to establish the cut, then increase speed as appropriate for the material. Apply steady, moderate pressure—excessive force is unnecessary due to the aggressive tooth geometry and efficient chip clearance. Periodically withdraw the holesaw to clear chips and allow cooling when cutting dense or heat-sensitive materials.
For best results, select an arbor compatible with a 68 mm holesaw, use appropriate cutting fluid when machining ferrous metals or stainless steel, and avoid excessive side loading. Inspect the pilot bit and arbor fit before use and allow the holesaw to cool between extended cuts to preserve tooth hardness and prolong life.
