Socket bit for screwdriver MODECO MN-16-013B magnetic 1/4" drive 13 mm
MODECO MN-16-013B is a magnetic socket bit designed for screwdrivers and power drivers with a 1/4" (6.35 mm) hex drive and a 13 mm socket head. The bit combines a standard 1/4" hex shank with a 13 mm socket, providing compatibility with common bit holders, quick-change adapters and cordless screwdrivers that accept 1/4" bits. Magnetic retention helps hold fasteners in place to reduce dropping and simplify single-handed operation during assembly, repair and maintenance tasks.
The magnetic function secures nuts and bolts on the socket, improving handling speed and reducing the risk of slippage. The 1/4" hex drive ensures broad compatibility with bit holders and impact drivers that accept this common standard. Its compact socket design allows access in confined spaces where larger tools cannot reach, and the metal construction provides the strength needed for general fastening tasks without adding unnecessary bulk.
Insert the 1/4" hex shank of the MODECO MN-16-013B into the screwdriver or bit holder until it seats securely. Place the magnetic socket over the nut or bolt head so the magnetic retention holds the fastener in position, then operate the driver at low speed to start threading. Increase speed as required and maintain steady pressure to avoid stripping. Remove by reversing rotation and withdraw the socket once the fastener is free.
Use the socket bit within the torque limits of your driver and avoid excessive force that may damage fasteners or the bit itself. Keep the bit clean and free of debris to maintain magnetic contact and inspect periodically for wear; replace if rounds or deformation appear. For high-torque applications, use an appropriate socket or wrench designed for those forces.
