Rubber Mallet MODECO MN-31-312, plastic handle, 340 g
MODECO MN-31-312 is a 340 g rubber mallet with a plastic handle designed to deliver controlled strikes while minimising damage to finished surfaces. The non-marring rubber head absorbs shock and reduces impact marks on wood, metal, ceramics and assembled parts. The lightweight plastic handle offers an ergonomic grip for repetitive tasks and keeps the tool easy to manoeuvre during assembly, carpentry, tiling and light mechanical work.
The rubber head provides soft but firm impact that prevents surface marring and chipping, making the tool suitable for use on delicate materials. The 340 g head weight balances delivering sufficient force for positioning and seating components without over‑driving fasteners. A plastic handle keeps overall weight low and resists corrosion, while its shape improves handling and control during precise strikes.
Hold the mallet by the plastic handle with a firm but comfortable grip. Position the rubber head against the workpiece and apply controlled strikes to seat components, align parts or adjust fittings. Use short, measured strokes rather than full‑force swings when working on delicate surfaces to avoid unnecessary impact. Inspect the rubber head periodically for wear and replace the tool if the head becomes excessively deformed.
For best results, use the mallet on surfaces that require gentle impact. Avoid striking hardened steel edges or using the rubber mallet as a substitute for a metal hammer in heavy demolition, as this will shorten the head life. Store the tool in a dry place away from prolonged UV exposure to preserve the rubber.
