Rivet Tool (side) MODECO MN-40-006 250 mm with 4 Rivet Nozzles
The MODECO rivet tool (side) MN-40-006 is a 250 mm manual blind rivet plier designed for installing pop rivets in metal and sheet materials. It features a side-action mechanism that provides mechanical leverage for controlled, hand-operated riveting. Supplied with four interchangeable rivet nozzles, the tool covers a range of rivet diameters and is intended for light to medium riveting tasks in workshops, maintenance, assembly and construction settings.
The tool’s 250 mm length and side-action configuration deliver improved access in confined areas and greater user control during riveting operations. Interchangeable nozzles increase versatility and reduce the need for multiple tools. Its manual operation requires no power source and offers straightforward, consistent performance suitable for on-site repairs and assembly. The robust metal construction ensures durability under repeated use.
Select the nozzle that matches the rivet diameter, thread it onto the mandrel seat, and insert the rivet into the prepared hole in the workpieces. Position the rivet tool so the rivet head is flush against the material, then squeeze the handles to pull the mandrel and set the rivet. Continue squeezing until the mandrel breaks free; release the handles and remove the spent mandrel. Replace the nozzle as needed when changing rivet sizes, and ensure holes are properly aligned and deburred before riveting.
Use appropriate personal protective equipment such as safety glasses when setting rivets. For consistent results, choose rivet sizes matched to material thickness and hole diameter, and inspect the tool’s jaw and nozzle condition regularly. Store the tool dry and clean after use to maintain reliable operation.
