Rivets Modeco MN-41-640 aluminium blind rivets 4/10 mm 50 pcs
Modeco MN-41-640 aluminium blind rivets, nominal size 4/10 mm, pack of 50 pieces. These blind rivets are designed for joining thin metal sheets, plastics and similar materials where access is available from only one side. Each rivet has an aluminium body and mandrel that provide corrosion resistance and consistent clamping force for assembly, repair and installation tasks. The pack contains fifty rivets sized for common light-duty fastening applications and is compatible with manual and pneumatic rivet tools.
Aluminium construction offers low weight and resistance to rust in typical indoor and sheltered outdoor environments. The blind design allows installation from one side, eliminating the need for rear access and simplifying work in confined spaces. Supplied in a 50-piece pack, these rivets provide a consistent grip and repeatable performance for series assemblies or maintenance jobs. They are suitable for use with standard hand riveters and pneumatic rivet guns, enabling efficient installation.
Drill a hole matching the rivet diameter through the materials to be joined. Insert the rivet through the aligned holes, place the rivet nose in the riveter, and actuate the tool until the mandrel snaps, forming the blind head and clamping the materials. Remove the broken mandrel stub and inspect the joint to ensure proper setting and secure clamping. For repeated installations, use a rivet tool suitable for the rivet size to maintain consistent results.
Use drill bits of the correct size to ensure a snug fit; avoid oversizing the hole. Select an appropriate grip length if fastening thicker material layers. For outdoor or high-corrosion environments, consider alternative materials or protective coatings. Wear eye protection during installation and dispose of mandrel remnants according to local regulations.
