Concrete drill bits MODECO 5 mm, cylindrical shank, set of 10 – MN-61-054
Set of 10 MODECO concrete drill bits, 5 mm diameter with cylindrical shank, designed for drilling into concrete and masonry. The set is intended for use with hammer drills and rotary hammers that accept cylindrical shanks, providing a compact selection of bits for fastening, anchor installation and general drilling tasks in construction and renovation.
The set contains ten identical 5 mm bits, ensuring consistent hole size and saving time on tool changes. Each bit features a cylindrical shank compatible with many standard drill chucks and quick-change chucks. The tungsten carbide tip geometry is engineered for impact drilling in hard materials, improving drilling speed and edge life compared with plain steel points. The uniform size and packaging make the set convenient for transport and storage on job sites or in a workshop.
Mark the drilling point and select a suitable drilling speed for concrete with a hammer-drill function engaged. Secure the workpiece if necessary. Insert the 5 mm cylindrical shank fully into the drill chuck and tighten according to the tool manufacturer's instructions. Start drilling with light pressure until the carbide tip locates, then apply steady, moderate pressure. Periodically withdraw the bit to clear dust from the hole and reduce heating. For deeper holes, use intermittent drilling and allow the bit to cool.
Use appropriate personal protective equipment including eye protection, hearing protection and a dust mask when drilling concrete. Match drilling speed and hammer action to the material density, and avoid excessive lateral force to maintain bit life and hole accuracy. Replace bits that show significant wear or damage to the carbide tip.
