Concrete drill bit MODECO MN-61-057 6 mm, set of 10
Concrete drill bit MODECO MN-61-057 6 mm, set of 10
MODECO MN-61-057 concrete drill bit set contains ten 6 mm diameter carbide-tipped bits designed for drilling in concrete, brick and natural stone. Intended for use with hammer drills and rotary hammers, the set provides consistent hole size for anchor bolts, dowels and fixture installation. The bits are manufactured to preserve tip geometry under impact conditions and to deliver repeatable results in professional and DIY applications where accurate 6 mm holes are required.
The 6 mm bits feature carbide tips that retain sharpness and resist wear during drilling in masonry materials. A geometry optimized for hammer action concentrates impact energy at the cutting edge to improve penetration while reducing walking at the start of the hole. Supplied as a set of ten, the pack ensures replacement availability on site and consistent hole diameter across multiple fixings. The bits are compatible with standard 6 mm chucks and SDS-plus adapters when used with appropriate holders.
Mark the drilling position and use a center punch or pilot mark to prevent the bit from slipping. Set the hammer drill to the masonry/hammer mode and select an appropriate speed for the material. Start drilling at low pressure to establish the hole, then apply steady pressure while allowing the tool to deliver impacts; do not force the bit. Periodically withdraw the bit to clear dust from the hole and reduce heat build-up. Replace bits from the set when wear degrades cutting performance.
Wear appropriate personal protective equipment including eye protection, hearing protection and gloves. Use dust extraction or a vacuum when possible, and follow drill manufacturer guidance for maximum speeds and hammer settings to prolong bit life.
