Drill Bit MODECO SDS+ 10 mm, model MN-61-919
MODECO SDS+ 10 mm drill bit (model MN-61-919) is designed for use with SDS+ rotary hammers and hammer drills. The 10 mm diameter carbide-tipped bit is intended for drilling into concrete, brick and other masonry materials. The SDS+ shank provides secure coupling and quick bit changes, making it suitable for both professional tradespeople and DIY users who require reliable hammer drilling performance in hard substrates.
The SDS+ shank ensures stable engagement with compatible rotary hammers and fast, tool-free changes. A carbide-tipped cutting head improves wear resistance and drilling speed when penetrating concrete and brick. The straight flute design enables efficient removal of drilling debris to maintain drilling progress and reduce clogging. The bit is manufactured to deliver consistent hole diameter and reliable performance under hammering loads.
Fit the MODECO SDS+ 10 mm drill bit into the SDS+ chuck of the rotary hammer until it locks. Select the hammer-drilling mode on the tool if available. Start drilling at low speed to position the bit, then apply steady pressure and allow the hammer action to penetrate the material; avoid excessive side load to prevent premature wear. Periodically withdraw the bit from the hole to clear dust and debris and to cool the cutting head. Use appropriate drill speeds and feed pressure for the material being drilled.
Use eye and hearing protection, dust masks and gloves when hammer drilling. For clean, accurate holes in concrete, mark the drilling point, use steady axial pressure and allow the bit to do the work. Replace the drill bit if the cutting performance drops or if the tip shows visible damage. Ensure the rotary hammer supports SDS+ bits and select the right bit diameter for anchors and fixings.
