Utility Knife with Replaceable Snap-Off Blade MODECO MN-63-018, 18 mm, 12 Blades
Handheld utility knife MODECO MN-63-018 with an 18 mm replaceable snap-off blade system. Supplied with 12 pre-scored blades that allow quick removal of dull segments to restore a sharp cutting edge. The compact handle provides controlled cutting and convenient storage of the blade cartridge. The knife is designed for precise trimming and slicing of cardboard, film, carpet, thin plastic and similar materials in workshop, construction or household tasks.
The snap-off blade system enables fast and safe restoration of a sharp edge without the need for sharpening. A compact, ergonomically shaped handle ensures a firm grip and precise control during cutting. The supplied set of 12 pre-scored blades reduces downtime and makes the tool ready for immediate use. The blade cartridge and simple slide mechanism facilitate tool maintenance and blade replacement.
Slide open the handle cover or release the blade lock according to the built-in slider mechanism, then insert or advance the blade to the required length. Make controlled, even passes with the knife using the handle to guide the cut; apply steady, moderate pressure and avoid twisting the blade. When the leading segment becomes dull, snap it off along the scored line using the integrated snapper or a suitable plier, then advance a fresh segment. Replace the blade cartridge when all segments are used or if the blade is damaged.
Use cutting mats or protective underlay when working on delicate surfaces. Always retract the blade fully when the tool is not in use and store it out of reach of children. Wear protective gloves and eye protection when cutting tougher materials, and replace blades promptly to maintain cutting efficiency and reduce the risk of accidents.
