Utility Knife MODECO MN-63-034 aluminium handle with replaceable trapezoidal blade 19×50 mm
Handheld utility knife MODECO MN-63-034 has an aluminium handle and accepts replaceable trapezoidal blades sized 19×50 mm. The compact construction and metal body provide a sturdy feel while keeping the tool lightweight for everyday workshop and installation tasks. The blade geometry is suitable for precise trimming and cutting of cardboard, carpet, plastic, rubber and similar materials commonly encountered in packaging, construction and craft work.
The aluminium handle combines corrosion resistance with improved grip stability compared to thin plastic knives. A quick blade replacement mechanism allows fast, safe swapping of blades without tools, reducing downtime. The compact dimensions and balanced weight distribution make it easier to control cuts and reduce hand fatigue during repetitive tasks. Compatibility with trapezoidal 19×50 mm blades ensures wide availability of sharp, standardized cutting edges.
Hold the knife with a firm grip on the aluminium handle and align the blade edge with the cutting line. Extend only the necessary length of the trapezoidal blade for the task to minimise risk and improve control. Apply steady pressure and use smooth, controlled strokes; for thick or multi-layer materials make several light passes rather than a single heavy cut. To replace the blade, follow the built-in quick-change procedure: retract or remove the blade holder per the tool’s mechanism, remove the spent blade using pliers or protective gloves, insert a new 19×50 mm trapezoidal blade and secure it in place before resuming work.
Always use appropriate personal protective equipment such as cut-resistant gloves and eye protection when cutting. Keep blades covered or retracted when the knife is not in use. Select blade exposure and blade quality according to material thickness: use sharper or fresh blades for precise work and heavier or reinforced blades for tougher materials. Store spare blades in a secure container and dispose of used blades in a designated sharps or blade-disposal box.
