Mixer for gypsum MODECO MN-79-076, SDS+ shank, for 12–30 kg batches, 100 cm length
MODECO MN-79-076 is a gypsum mixing paddle with an SDS+ shank designed for use with compatible hand-held and powered mixers. With a total length of 100 cm, the paddle is intended to efficiently mix gypsum, plaster and similar cementitious compounds in batch sizes ranging from 12 to 30 kg. The construction of the paddle balances material flow and torque transfer through the SDS+ connection, enabling consistent viscosity and lump-free mixtures for plastering, leveling and finishing tasks.
The SDS+ shank ensures secure, tool-free insertion into SDS+ compatible chucks and provides reliable torque transmission during mixing. The 100 cm length gives extended reach into buckets and drums, reducing the need to bend or reposition containers. Designed for mixes of 12–30 kg, the paddle geometry promotes thorough agitation while minimizing air entrapment, resulting in even consistency and fewer manual adjustments.
Secure the paddle into an SDS+ compatible mixer chuck until it seats firmly. Place the paddle into the mixing container before starting the mixer to avoid splashing. Begin mixing at low speed to incorporate powder into the liquid, then increase speed as needed to reach a smooth, lump-free consistency. Move the paddle slowly around the container, allowing material to circulate from the bottom to the top until the desired viscosity is achieved. After use, clean the paddle promptly to prevent material hardening on the blade.
For best results, follow material manufacturer instructions for water-to-powder ratios and mixing times. Use appropriate personal protective equipment, including gloves and eye protection. Avoid prolonged high-speed operation to reduce air entrainment and wear on both the paddle and the mixer. Clean the paddle thoroughly after each use to extend service life.
