Wrecking Pry Bar MODECO MN-79-160 600 mm forged crowbar
MODECO MN-79-160 is a forged crowbar 600 mm in length designed for prying, dismantling and general demolition tasks. Constructed from forged steel, this wrecking pry bar combines a tapered chisel end for inserting into joints and seams with a claw/pry end for levering nails and lifting materials. The tool is intended for work in construction, renovation and workshops where controlled leverage, impact resistance and a durable working edge are required.
The forged construction provides increased strength and resistance to bending under load while the balanced 600 mm length offers a compromise between reach and control. The tapered chisel end is suitable for precise insertion into tight gaps, and the opposing claw end enables efficient nail removal and prying. The solid steel body tolerates repeated levering and provides a stable grip point for manual force or light striking with a hammer.
Place the tapered chisel end or the claw end into the gap or under the nail head, then apply steady leverage using the handle as a fulcrum. For stubborn nails or tightly fitted components, position the pry bar to maximize leverage and apply controlled force; protect surrounding surfaces with a block of wood if needed. When using as a chisel, strike the blunt portion with a hammer while maintaining secure hand placement to avoid slipping. After use, wipe off debris and inspect the working ends for deformation.
Use appropriate personal protective equipment such as gloves and eye protection. Do not use the pry bar as a hammer striking large metal surfaces repeatedly, and avoid improper bending or levering beyond the tool's designed capacity to prevent permanent deformation or breakage.
