Crowbar (pry bar) MODECO MN-79-170 1000 mm — forged construction for demolition and lifting
MODECO MN-79-170 is a 1000 mm forged construction crowbar designed for demolition, prying, lifting and levering tasks. The tool features a hardened forged steel shaft that resists bending under heavy loads and a shaped end profile for effective nail and board removal. This pry bar offers a long reach and mechanical advantage for controlled leverage in construction, renovation and workshop operations where a durable hand tool is required.
The forged construction provides uniform strength along the shaft and improved impact resistance compared with bent or welded alternatives. Hardened working ends maintain shape and edge under repeated use, while the 1000 mm length increases leverage for lifting and separating materials. The steel surface finish reduces corrosion risk with normal maintenance and supports long service life in demanding environments.
Position the appropriate end of the crowbar against the object to be moved, pried or lifted and apply steady force using the long shaft to increase leverage. For nail removal, place the forked end under the nail head and rock the bar back to extract the nail; use a block under the fulcrum to protect the work surface when needed. For separating boards or lifting heavy parts, insert the tapered end into gaps and apply controlled pressure; adjust the fulcrum point to manage force and movement safely.
Inspect the crowbar before each use for cracks, severe wear or deformation. Wear appropriate hand protection and eye protection when working with nails or brittle materials. Use suitable leverage techniques and a secondary support or lifting aid for heavy loads to prevent injury or damage.
