Hunting knife Morakniv Eldris Drop point 15.3 cm overall length
The Morakniv Eldris is a compact outdoor and hunting knife with an overall length of 15.3 cm and a 59 mm drop point blade. The blade is 2.0 mm thick and made of recycled Swedish stainless steel, providing strength and stable cutting performance. The ergonomic barrel-shaped polymer handle has a soft friction grip and an integrated finger guard. The symmetrical polymer sheath accepts both right- and left-handed carry and can be fitted with accessories such as the Morakniv Fire Kit or a compatible belt loop.
The Eldris combines a short, durable 2.0 mm profile-ground blade with a lightweight, barrel-shaped polymer handle that enhances grip and control. Its recycled stainless steel blade offers corrosion resistance and consistent cutting properties. The symmetrical sheath increases versatility for users of either hand and allows attachment of Morakniv accessories. Compact dimensions make the knife easy to carry in a pocket or backpack while remaining robust enough for typical outdoor and hunting tasks.
Hold the Eldris by the barrel-shaped handle with your index finger resting against the finger guard for controlled cutting. Use the drop point blade for precision tasks such as slicing, carving, and light batoning where appropriate. After use, clean the blade with fresh water, dry thoroughly and store in its sheath. For longer service life, avoid prolonged exposure to moisture and dry the knife immediately after contact with water or food.
For safe use, ensure the finger guard is positioned correctly and keep the blade sharp; a sharp blade requires less force and reduces the risk of slipping. The Eldris is best suited for small to medium outdoor tasks and not intended for heavy chopping or prying.
