Motip Maxi Color RAL9017 400ml Black is a nitrocellulose aerosol paint designed for repairs at home, in the workplace, in production environments, and for hobbies and crafts. It adheres well to metal, plastic, wood, concrete and many other substrates. The formulation does not contain heavy metals such as mercury or lead and is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. The dried coating is resistant to weathering, wear and cleaning agents and is formulated to resist fading and cracking.

How to use

Ensure the surface is clean, dry and free of grease. Remove loose old coatings and rust, and sand the surface as required. Prime the surface with a suitable primer for the substrate. Bring the aerosol to room temperature before use. Recommended application temperature is from +15 °C; do not expose the aerosol to temperatures above 50 °C. Shake the can for 2 minutes before use and test-spray. Maintain a spraying distance of approximately 25–30 cm from the surface. Apply the paint in several thin coats, shaking the can again before each new coat. After use, clean the valve by inverting the can and pressing the nozzle for about 5 seconds. Drying time depends on ambient temperature, humidity and film thickness.

Usage recommendations

Use appropriate personal protective equipment and ensure adequate ventilation during application. Store the aerosol upright in a cool, dry place away from heat sources and direct sunlight. Follow local regulations for disposal of empty cans.
