Rack accessory Rittal 2090.000 — zinc steel housing, silver, pack of 24
Rittal 2090.000 is a rack accessory consisting of a zinc-coated steel housing in a silver finish, supplied as a pack of 24 pieces. Designed for installation within 482.6 mm (19") mounting levels, each unit enables simple screw connections of installation components by sliding onto the mounting angle from the inside and locking into place. The product is intended for use in server and equipment racks where durable metal components, repeatable positioning and potential equalisation are required.
The zinc-coated steel construction provides resistance to corrosion and mechanical stress while maintaining a uniform silver appearance compatible with standard rack environments. The slide-on design allows faster positioning and installation compared with individual cage nuts, reducing assembly time. Integral contacting supports potential equalisation and the 1U support includes three cage nut positions plus a centre attachment aligned to standard EIA-310. Components are suitable for multiple dismantling and reuse, supporting maintenance and reconfiguration cycles.
Slide the zinc steel housing onto the 19" mounting angle from the inside so that the housing engages with the mounting profile. Position the 1U support at the desired vertical location, then lock it into place and secure installation components with screws into the provided cage nut positions. Ensure the centre attachment aligns with the EIA-310 standard if central fixation is required. For electrical potential equalisation, verify contact points and continuity after installation.
Use appropriate torque when fastening screws to avoid deformation of the housing or stripping the cage nut threads. Inspect contacting surfaces for paint or debris to ensure reliable potential equalisation. Store unused pieces in a dry environment to preserve the zinc coating and prevent corrosion prior to installation.
