Petrol Saw NAC CST25-25AC 25.4cc, 25 cm guide bar, 40-link chain, 3.57 kg
The NAC CST25-25AC petrol saw is a lightweight two-stroke chainsaw designed for small trees, pruning and light timber work. Powered by a 25.4 cm³ engine that can run up to 11,000 RPM and deliver rated power of 750 W (maximum torque 1.1 N·m), the saw features a 25 cm guide bar and a 40-link chain with 1.3 mm thickness. Fuel and oil reservoirs are compact — 0.23 L for fuel and 0.16 L for bar oil — and the unit weighs 3.57 kg, making it suitable for short tasks around the garden and property when used with suitable protective equipment.
The saw combines a compact 25.4 cm³ two-stroke engine with a short 25 cm guide bar to provide good maneuverability for pruning and cutting small-diameter wood. Low weight (3.57 kg) reduces operator fatigue during intermittent use. The 40-link, 1.3 mm chain and NAC guide bar are matched to the engine output for consistent cutting performance on light timber tasks. Small fuel and oil tanks support easy carrying and storage while allowing several short jobs before refuelling.
Fill the fuel tank with the recommended unleaded petrol 95 and the correct two-stroke oil mix as instructed by the manufacturer. Top up the bar oil reservoir before operation. Start the engine according to the user manual cold-start procedure, hold the saw firmly with both hands and maintain a stable stance. Use the appropriate cutting technique for small trees and branches, avoid cutting above shoulder height, and allow the engine to reach operating speed before engaging the chain with the workpiece. After use, drain or stabilise fuel if storing for a long period and perform routine chain tension and lubrication checks.
Use approved personal protective equipment — safety glasses or full visor, cut-resistant gloves, long trousers and sturdy footwear. Ensure the chain is correctly tensioned and sharpened, and check that the guide bar and lubrication system are functioning before each use. Operate the saw on appropriate timber sizes within the guide bar length and follow local safety regulations for fuel handling and noise.
