Description

The Nanlite Lantern 120 Easy-Up Softbox with Bowens Mount (47 in / 120 cm) provides omnidirectional, soft illumination for studio and location work. Lightweight and portable, it pairs the even light spread of a spherical "China ball" with the practical durability and mounting compatibility of a modern softbox. The softbox ships with a light control skirt set and a carry bag.

Advantages

The 47-inch spherical design delivers a wide 270° beam angle to evenly fill scenes with soft light. Included light control skirts allow quick adjustment of the beam spread and can be rolled to flag unwanted light. The Easy-Up speed ring with spring-loaded rod locks enables fast setup and teardown. A Bowens-style mount makes the softbox compatible with a broad range of LED, strobe, and constant lights, including Nanlite Forza series fixtures.

How to use

Open the Easy-Up speed ring and snap the spring-loaded rods into the ring until they click to assemble the sphere. Attach the Bowens-style speed ring to a compatible light fixture, then mount the softbox onto the fixture. Adjust or attach the light control skirts to limit or shape the 270° beam as required. Use the included carry bag to transport the softbox between locations. To disassemble, press the release buttons on the speed ring to unlock the rods and collapse the softbox.
