The Navilock NL-8009T Black GPS receiver module is a compact GNSS unit based on the u-blox 8 chipset with a built-in antenna and a 4-pin stereo TTL output. It supports L1 navigation signals at 1575.42 MHz and is designed for integration where a small, high-sensitivity receiver is required. The NL-8009T combines u-blox 8 positioning performance with an integrated antenna for improved signal reception in a small enclosure. The 4-pin TTL stereo plug provides a simple serial interface for connection to microcontrollers and navigation devices. Its compact dimensions and straightforward connectivity simplify installation in portable and embedded applications.
Connect the 4-pin stereo TTL plug to the corresponding TTL serial port on your host device following the pinout provided by the manufacturer. Provide the module with the recommended power supply and ensure the antenna has a clear view of the sky for optimal reception. Use standard NMEA sentences from the u-blox chipset or configure the module via supported serial commands to obtain position, time, and satellite data.
For best performance, mount the module with the built-in antenna facing upward and away from large metal surfaces or sources of RF interference.
