How to use

Choose the appropriate measurement mode for forehead, ear or object on the device, remove the magnetic probe cover when using the ear function and place the probe gently in the ear canal or against the centre of the forehead. For non-contact forehead readings keep the recommended distance as described in the manual, press the measurement button, wait for the audible signal and read the temperature on the HD screen. For object measurements hold the sensor toward the item (for example milk or bath water) and take the reading. Use the fever alert colours and sounds to interpret results quickly.
