Crimp pliers Nedis CCGG89510BK — compact hand crimper, package length 26 cm, package width 25 mm
Nedis crimp pliers CCGG89510BK are a compact manual crimping tool designed for pressing and securing connectors and terminals used in electrical and telecom installations. The tool combines crimping, cable cutting and insulation stripping functions in a single hand-held device. Supplied in compact packaging with a length of 26 cm and a width of 25 mm, the crimp pliers are built from steel with rubber-coated handles and are compatible with 8P8C connectors and common Ethernet cable categories including CAT7, CAT6a, CAT6, CAT5e and CAT5.
The tool offers textured handles that provide a non-slip grip for improved control and comfort during repetitive tasks. Its contact drivers have an expanded surface area to deliver a uniform crimp force, ensuring consistent and reliable connections. The pliers include a feature to secure the back tail of external shielded connectors and a ratchet safety release to prevent incomplete crimps. As a combination tool it integrates cutting and insulation stripping, reducing the number of separate tools required on site.
Prepare the cable by cutting to length and stripping the outer insulation to expose the inner conductors. Arrange the conductors according to the required wiring standard, insert them into the connector body and seat the connector onto the cable. Position the connector into the crimp pliers’ contact drivers, ensuring the connector back tail is aligned with the securing feature for shielded connectors if applicable, then squeeze the handles firmly until the ratchet releases to complete the crimp. Use the tool’s cutting and stripping sections as needed to trim conductors and remove insulation prior to crimping.
Use the crimp pliers on compatible connector types and cable categories only. Verify wiring order before crimping and perform a visual and, where required, electrical test after termination to confirm continuity and signal integrity. Clean and inspect the tool periodically, removing debris from the contact drivers and ensuring the ratchet mechanism operates smoothly. Store in a dry place to prevent corrosion.
