This Nedis SmartLife 4MP Quad HD Wi-Fi rechargeable outdoor IP camera allows you to see what’s happening around your house regardless of whether there’s an imminent threat or you simply want to feel completely safe. The camera comes with total flexibility thanks to its rechargeable battery and the possibility to add an optional solar panel.
Due to its waterproof housing (IP66) the smart camera is protected from water, and can therefore be mounted to an external façade. The camera can be connected to your existing Wi-Fi network to monitor your house or garden and record any sound or motion, whether you are at home or on the road. The Nedis SmartLife app notifies you in case of movement, so you can intervene in time.
Battery operatedOnce the camera is charged you’re ready to use it as a security camera. Depending on the number of recordings it can last 6 to 8 months on a single charge. On average, when it records 20 events a day, the battery will last up to 2.5 months. However in combination with a solar panel, the battery will be constantly charged if the sun is shining and there is no need to take the wireless camera off again.
Quad HD ResolutionYou can keep an eye on and react to everything you see in real-time via the Nedis SmartLife app. Due to the Field Of View of 120° you have a wide angle field of view to keep an eye on your belongings. Thanks to the micro SD slot, you can store recordings on a micro SD card up to 128 GB (not included). It records in Quad HD resolution (2560 x 1440 pixels) for complete clarity of the images captured. There is also an option to save the video material in our app through a cloud solution (subscription-based).
Reacts to movementThe camera reacts to movements, so when someone passes the Wi-Fi camera within the 120-degree field of view it will react. Due to the AI Human Motion Detection it analyzes the shapes of objects allowing you to set it to detect humans' movements only, sparing yourself the unnecessary alarms. If required, it will start a recording automatically and additionally you receive a push notification on your smartphone. The notifications are displayed as pop-up messages on your smartphone without you having to open the app. This means you are informed immediately and can respond very quickly. The multi-user function allows even several people to access the camera at the same time.
Night VisionThe camera sees clearly even in the night because of the colour night vision function offering a range of approx. 10.0 meters. The camera also has a 45-lumen bright white floodlight which helps you to see important features like faces or license plates in full colour, even at night.
Two-way communicationThe Wi-Fi camera is equipped with a microphone and speaker. The two-way audio communication works perfectly to speak to somebody who is near the camera allowing you to communicate even when you are not at home. The camera also supports an alarm and siren function to deter intruders.
Easy to set-upThe Wi-Fi camera can be installed without a gateway and integrated directly into your wireless network – this simplifies installation and saves additional costs. The camera receives power via rechargeable batteries or can be charged with an additional solar panel. Therefore, you can set up the Wi-Fi camera even when there is no power socket nearby. A wall & ceiling camera mount is included for positioning the camera to the walls of a building.
