The NEO 04-616 Cordless Drill Driver is an 18V brushless tool designed for versatile drilling and driving tasks. Lightweight at about 1.56 kg, it operates within the ENERGY+ battery system and accepts compatible 18V lithium-ion packs. The compact two-speed gearbox provides a first-gear spindle speed up to 480 rpm and a second-gear speed up to 1900 rpm. The driver delivers up to 100 Nm of maximum torque and includes an impact function with frequencies of approximately 7,200 impacts/min in first gear and 30,400 impacts/min in second gear. A 13 mm self-clamping metal chuck accepts common bits and accessories, while an integrated LED automatically illuminates the work area. The tool is supplied without a battery pack.

How to use

Fit a compatible ENERGY+ 18V lithium-ion battery of appropriate capacity and ensure it is fully charged before use. Insert the selected bit into the 13 mm self-clamping chuck and tighten by hand until secure. Select the required gear for the task (low speed for high torque or high speed for rapid drilling), set the desired torque or impact mode if available, and choose the rotation direction. Hold the drill with both hands, using the auxiliary handle for added control during heavy-duty or impact operations. The LED will illuminate automatically while the tool is running to improve visibility at the working surface.

Usage recommendations

For prolonged or heavy tasks select a higher-capacity ENERGY+ battery (for example 4 Ah) to extend run time. Use lower speeds and higher torque settings for driving large screws, and higher speeds for fast drilling in wood. When working in masonry, engage the impact function and secure the workpiece. Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment (eye and ear protection, gloves) and follow battery and charger manufacturer instructions.
