Pliers NEO tools 01-153, length 200 mm, weight 306 g
NEO tools 01-153 combination pliers, 200 mm long and weighing 306 g, are hand pliers designed for gripping, bending and holding small components in mechanical, electrical and general repair tasks. The tool belongs to a series developed by NEO and features a drive technology that reduces the operator's required pressure force by approximately 40%. Jaws include a special opening that allows gripping nails, screws and cables without crushing them, while a toothed surface helps with loosening and holding fasteners. The pliers are manufactured from CrNi steel with anti-corrosion protection and have ergonomic two-component handles with a rubberised surface to reduce slipping.
The 40% force-saving drive reduces hand fatigue and improves control when cutting or gripping. Precision-shaped jaws combine a gripping zone and a toothed surface to handle nails, screws, cables and wires without damaging them. Corrosion-resistant CrNi steel construction ensures durability and long service life under workshop conditions. Two-component, rubberised grips provide a secure, ergonomic hold for accurate work in confined spaces.
Position the pliers so the appropriate jaw zone contacts the workpiece: use the cutting/flat section for bending or cutting small wires and the gripping zone with toothed surface for holding bolts, screws or cable cores. For nails and thicker pieces use the special jaw opening to clamp without crushing. Apply steady, controlled pressure using the ergonomic handles; the drive design will reduce the force required. After use, clean debris from the jaws and keep the pliers dry to maintain the anti-corrosion protection.
Use appropriate personal protective equipment such as safety glasses and gloves when working. Do not use the pliers on live electrical circuits unless they are verified as insulated for electrical work. Avoid using the pliers as a hammer or pry bar. Store in a dry toolbox to preserve the CrNi anti-corrosion finish and periodically lubricate the pivot joint for smooth operation.
