Mounting Kit NEO tools 01-543 Weight 3.72 kg Depth 480 mm
The NEO tools 01-543 hydraulic hand press is a mechanical crimping tool intended for reliable termination of electrical terminals and wire rope. With a total length of 480 mm and a weight of 3.72 kg, the press combines portability with stable operation. Its carbon steel body and hexogenic clamp design deliver durability and accurate alignment of crimping dies. The tool generates up to 12 tons of clamping force and uses a hydraulic cylinder and 20 mm stroke to reduce operator effort while producing consistent crimps.
The press offers a wide range of interchangeable crimping jaws covering cross-sections from 16 to 300 mm², enabling use on diverse conductor sizes; a rotating actuator head and split clamping dies simplify positioning and die changes; an integrated locking pin secures dies during operation; ergonomic handles and a movable actuator arm improve handling and leverage; the included carrying case ensures organized storage and transport.
Select the appropriate crimping die for the conductor cross-section and install it in the split clamping die housing, securing it with the stop pin. Position the terminal and conductor between the dies, rotate the actuator head to the working angle if necessary, and operate the hydraulic actuator by pumping the handle until the 20 mm stroke completes a full compression cycle. Release the main valve to retract the piston and remove the crimped terminal. Follow standard electrical safety procedures and ensure correct die selection to achieve a reliable crimp.
Use the tool within its specified crimping range and avoid applying the press to conductors or fittings outside the listed sizes. Regularly inspect dies and the hydraulic system for wear or damage, keep the tool clean and store it in the supplied case to protect components. For consistent results, use dies rated for the terminal material and follow accepted crimping standards for electrical installations.
