How to use

Clean the threaded or mating surfaces to remove dirt, oil and old sealant. Start the tape at the end of the male thread and wrap clockwise with light tension, overlapping each wrap slightly until the thread is covered; typically 3–5 turns are sufficient depending on thread size. Avoid covering the first thread to prevent tape entering the system. Assemble the connection and hand-tighten, then use an appropriate wrench to complete tightening to the required torque. The PTFE tape will conform to thread profiles and provide a leak-resistant seal.
