NEO tools 10-317 is a single Phillips PH2 screwdriver bit with a 1/4" hex drive designed for use with bit holders, ratchets and electric screwdrivers that accept 1/4" shanks. The bit is 37 mm long and made from chrome vanadium steel for wear resistance and consistent fit in PH2 fasteners. Weighing 14 g, it is intended for general fastening, repair and light assembly tasks where a standard PH2 tip and compact length are required.
The chrome vanadium steel construction provides strength and durability while maintaining the correct tip geometry for reliable engagement with Phillips screws. The standardized 1/4" hex shank ensures compatibility with a wide range of manual and powered drivers. Its compact 37 mm length offers good control in confined spaces and easy storage with other bits.
Insert the 1/4" hex shank into a compatible bit holder, ratchet adapter or powered screwdriver chuck until it locks. Position the PH2 tip into the screw head and apply steady axial pressure while turning the driver. Use moderate torque appropriate to the screw and material to avoid cam-out or damage to the screw head. Replace the bit when tip wear affects fit or engagement.
For best results, match the PH2 bit to the screw size and use controlled torque settings on powered drivers. Store the bit in a holder or bit case to protect the tip and avoid corrosion; inspect the tip before precision work and replace if deformed or rounded.
