Torque wrench accessory NEO tools 11-365, adapter/attachment, 1 pc, 112 g
NEO tools 11-365 is an adapter-style accessory designed to work with torque wrenches and hand drives to remove and install oil filters with a 74 mm, 15-point profile. Supplied as a single piece and weighing approximately 112 g, the attachment provides a compact solution for workshop and field service where a 3.8" (10 mm) square drive input is required. The socket is manufactured from sheet material and finished with black paint for basic surface protection.
The oil filter socket provides a direct mechanical interface between common torque or ratchet tools and 74 mm, 15-point oil filters, enabling controlled torque application and safer loosening or tightening. Its single-piece construction keeps the adapter rigid during use while the painted finish offers resistance to corrosion and wear in normal workshop conditions. The 3.8" (10 mm) square input ensures compatibility with many manual and powered drives.
Fit the 74 mm, 15-point end of the socket onto the corresponding oil filter so that all points engage evenly. Attach a compatible torque wrench, ratchet or breaker bar to the 3.8" (10 mm) square input and apply turning force according to the vehicle or filter manufacturer’s specified torque or loosening procedure. When removing tight filters, use steady, controlled force and ensure the socket remains fully seated on the filter to avoid rounding the profile.
Check the vehicle service manual for the correct filter size and recommended torque values before use. Inspect the socket for damage or excessive wear prior to each use and replace if deformities are present. Use hand tools or torque wrenches within their rated capacity; avoid excessive impact loading on the painted sheet construction to prolong service life.
