Screw/bolt NEO tools 21-027, single piece, weight 206 g
NEO tools 21-027 is a single-piece heating sleeve with a diameter of 32 mm, supplied as one unit with a net weight of 206 g. Designed for welding PE, PP and PB plastic pipes and sockets, this sleeve is intended for use with the NEO 21-004 welding machine. The sleeve is finished with a PTFE coating that reduces adhesion of softened plastic during heating and welding operations. Delivered with two bolts and two nuts for attachment, the item is suitable for workshop, maintenance and DIY repair tasks that require a dedicated heating sleeve for small-diameter fittings.
The PTFE-coated surface decreases sticking of melted polymer to the sleeve, which simplifies cleaning and maintains consistent heat transfer. A diameter of 32 mm matches common small pipe and socket sizes used in household and light-commercial installations. Compatibility with the NEO 21-004 welding machine ensures straightforward mounting and operation in systems that use this heater. Supplied hardware (two bolts and two nuts) enables immediate installation on the compatible tool without the need to source separate fasteners.
Attach the heating sleeve to the NEO 21-004 welding machine using the supplied bolts and nuts, ensuring the sleeve is mounted securely and aligned with the machine's heater block. Select the appropriate temperature setting for the plastic type (PE, PP or PB) and allow the sleeve to reach working temperature before starting the welding process. Position the pipe or socket to the heated sleeve according to the welding procedure, apply consistent pressure and hold until the joint cools and solidifies. After use, allow the sleeve to cool and remove any residual material; the PTFE coating will reduce adhesion and simplify cleanup.
Use correct temperature and pressure settings for the specific plastic material being welded, follow the NEO 21-004 machine manual for safe operation, and inspect the PTFE surface regularly for wear. Replace the sleeve if the coating is significantly damaged or if secure mounting cannot be maintained.
