Metalworking chisel NEO tools 33-084, weight 872 g, single piece
NEO tools 33-084 is a metalworking cold chisel for cutting, shaping and removing metal and for breaking and crushing hard materials. The chisel is supplied as a single piece and weighs 872 g. Constructed from chromium-vanadium steel with a flat blade and an integrated guard, it is intended for professional and hobby use in metal fabrication, fitting and repair tasks where a durable hand chisel is required.
The chisel's chromium-vanadium steel construction provides durability and resistance to wear during repeated impact work. A well profiled handle with an anti-slip texture improves grip and control, while the integrated guard protects the hand from accidental hammer strikes. The flat blade geometry is suitable for precise cutting and material removal on metal surfaces and for controlled breaking of hard substrates.
Position the flat blade edge against the workpiece at the desired cutting or breaking point. Hold the chisel by the profiled handle with a firm grip, keeping the hand behind the guard. Strike the chisel head with a suitable hammer to drive the blade through the material or to chip away unwanted sections. For metalworking, use controlled, repeated blows and re-sharpen the blade as needed for clean cuts. For masonry or demolition, use progressively stronger strikes and appropriate eye and hand protection.
Use personal protective equipment such as safety glasses and gloves; ensure the chisel is oriented correctly and the guard remains positioned between the striking area and the hand. Maintain the blade by occasional honing and inspect the handle and steel for damage before each use to ensure safe operation.
