Hand saw NEO tools 41-226 — manual saw, weight 302 g, 1 pc
NEO tools 41-226 is a manual hand saw designed for straight, precise cutting tasks. The saw features a 350 mm induction-hardened steel blade with a rigid back brace to prevent blade deformation during sawing. With a high-performance 13 TPI tooth profile and a lightweight construction (approx. 302 g), this single-piece hand saw is intended for general-purpose woodworking, trimming and on-site repairs where a compact, non-powered cutting tool is preferred.
The hardened steel blade and 13 TPI tooth geometry deliver steady, controlled cutting and neat edge trimming. The back brace maintains blade straightness under pressure for improved accuracy on long straight cuts. An ergonomic overmoulded plastic handle with non-slip coating ensures a secure grip and better guidance during use. The saw’s moderate weight and compact design make it easy to carry and position for confined or mobile work sites.
Secure the workpiece before starting and mark the cutting line clearly. Hold the saw by the overmoulded handle with a comfortable, firm grip and start the cut with light forward strokes to create a guide kerf. Use steady, even strokes, allowing the 13 TPI blade to remove material without forcing. The back brace keeps the blade straight for accurate, straight-line cuts; maintain consistent pressure and sight along the cutting line for best results. After use, clean any debris from the blade and store the saw in a dry place to preserve the hardened steel.
For precise results, begin cuts with a few slow, controlled strokes to establish the line, then increase stroke length while maintaining light pressure. Use the saw primarily on soft to medium-hard woods and for finish trimming where neat edges are required. Avoid cutting very hard materials or applying excessive lateral force to prevent damaging the blade or back brace.
