Hand saw NEO tools 44-613, hand saw, weight 202 g, 1 pc
NEO tools 44-613 is a Japanese-style fine cutting hand saw designed for precise manual cutting of wood, plywood, chipboard and other light materials. The saw features a 275 mm narrow, flexible manganese steel blade with 11 TPI (teeth per inch) and three-sided sharpened, induction-hardened teeth that reduce cutting resistance and support accurate, clean cuts. Supplied as a single lightweight unit (202 g), this hand saw is suitable for DIY, carpentry and repair tasks where control and finish quality matter.
The flexible narrow blade allows cutting in different planes and offers good maneuverability in confined spaces. Three-sided sharpened teeth combined with induction hardening yield longer tooth life and lower resistance when slicing through dry wood and sheet materials. The 11 TPI configuration provides a balance between cutting speed and precision, producing finer cuts than coarse-tooth saws while remaining efficient on thin panels and dimensional lumber. Its compact weight makes the tool easy to carry and handle during extended work sessions.
Secure the workpiece and mark the cutting line clearly. Hold the saw with a firm, comfortable grip and start the cut with a few short forward strokes to establish a kerf. Use steady, controlled strokes and moderate pressure, letting the sharpened teeth and induction-hardened edge do the cutting. For angled or flush cuts, exploit the blade's flexibility to follow the desired plane while maintaining consistent stroke rhythm. For best results on plywood or chipboard, support the cut edge to reduce splintering.
Use the saw primarily on dry wood, plywood and chipboard. Avoid excessive lateral bending beyond normal use to prevent blade deformation. Keep teeth clean and occasionally remove resin or debris; store the saw dry to preserve the induction-hardened edge. For a smoother finish on visible edges, make a preliminary shallow scoring cut along the cut line before completing the full depth.
