Clamp NEO tools 45-491 Depth 230 mm Weight 778 g
The NEO tools 45-491 clamp is a double corner clamp designed to hold two workpieces precisely at a 90° angle. With a maximum throat depth of 230 mm and a compact weight of 778 g, this clamp provides stable positioning for joining, gluing, drilling or finishing operations in woodworking and light metalworking. Its double-grip jaw and corner configuration accommodate parts of varying thicknesses up to 65 mm, while a quick-release button and adjustable rotation make alignment and repositioning efficient.
The clamp combines a solid steel construction with an ergonomic non-slip handle for comfortable, controlled operation. The double-grip jaw improves contact and stability on both pieces, reducing movement during adhesive curing or fastening. A quick-release mechanism speeds up repetitive clamping tasks, and mounting holes allow secure attachment to a workbench for fixed operations.
Place the two workpieces in the corner jaw so their meeting edges form a 90° angle. Adjust the rotating jaw to align the parts flush, then tighten using the handle until both pieces are held firmly. Use the quick-release button to rapidly open the clamp when repositioning or removing the workpieces. For permanent or repetitive use, secure the clamp to a workbench via the mounting holes to improve stability and repeatability.
For best results, ensure mating surfaces are clean and square before clamping. When gluing, apply even pressure and check alignment before adhesive sets. Avoid over-tightening on thin or delicate materials; use protective pads if necessary to prevent surface marring. Regularly inspect the steel frame and moving parts for wear or debris and lubricate the rotating mechanism as needed to maintain smooth operation.
