Concrete float NEO tools 50-221 — 1 pc, hand float for smoothing concrete
NEO tools 50-221 is a hand concrete float supplied as one piece per pack. Intended for smoothing, leveling and finishing fresh concrete surfaces, this float features a soft sponge working face mounted on a durable plastic body and an ergonomic handle. The tool is lightweight and designed for manual use on small to medium concrete jobs in construction, repair and DIY where careful surface preparation is required. In addition to concrete, the sponge-faced float can be used for light cleaning and polishing of ceramic tiles and for working on plasters.
The plastic body provides corrosion resistance and low weight, making the float easy to maneuver during extended use. The soft sponge working surface reduces the risk of overworking fresh concrete while producing a uniform appearance and helping to remove trowel marks. The ergonomic handle improves grip and control, increasing accuracy when leveling and finishing. The compact size is convenient for tight areas and small repair jobs.
Begin by placing the float on the fresh concrete surface and apply even, light pressure while moving the tool in overlapping strokes. Maintain a consistent angle and rhythm to avoid digging into the concrete; the sponge face is intended to smooth and blend rather than cut. For tile polishing or working on plaster, use gentle circular or linear motions and rinse or wring out the sponge as needed to remove accumulated debris. After use, clean the sponge and plastic body with water and allow to dry before storage.
Use the NEO tools sponge float when the concrete has set enough to support light finishing but is still plastic; avoid using excessive force to prevent surface tearing. For best results on larger surfaces, pair manual floating with appropriate finishing tools and follow standard curing practices.
