Concrete float NEO tools 50-223 — hand float for smoothing concrete, 1 pc
NEO tools 50-223 is a hand concrete float designed for smoothing and finishing fresh concrete surfaces. The tool combines a lightweight plastic body with a water-absorbing sponge working surface, allowing controlled leveling, pore closing and surface preparation on slabs, patches and repair areas before curing. Supplied as a single unit, this hand float is intended for manual use where a moderate, even finish and removal of excess material after pointing are required.
The float’s plastic construction provides corrosion resistance and low weight for easier manual handling. A sponge-faced working area absorbs water and holds smoothing compound to create a consistent finish without aggressive abrasion. The ergonomic handle ensures comfortable grip during repeated passes, reducing operator fatigue. The simple, single-piece design is easy to clean and suitable for routine masonry and concrete repair tasks.
Use the float on fresh concrete after initial leveling and when bleed water has mostly disappeared but the surface remains workable. Moisten the sponge if necessary to prevent sticking, then glide the float across the surface with even pressure and overlapping passes to close pores and achieve a uniform texture. For removing excess mortar after pointing, press gently and wipe away residue. Rinse the float after use and store dry to maintain the sponge condition.
For best results, work steadily with light to moderate pressure and avoid overworking the surface. Keep the sponge damp but not dripping, and clean the float after each use to extend its service life. Use on small to medium repair jobs or finishing areas where manual control of texture is important.
