Tape measure NEO tools 67-111-1 — measuring tape, single pack, 422 g
NEO tools 67-111-1 is an 8 m x 25 mm coiled steel tape measure designed for accurate length measurement in construction, DIY and repair work. Supplied as a single pack with a product weight of 422 g, this handheld measuring tape features a magnetic tip, two tape locks and a two-material, non-slip housing. A nylon coating protects the printed graduation from abrasion while a tape retraction shock absorber controls retraction for smooth and safe closure. The instrument is MID Class II compliant, meeting accuracy requirements for professional applications.
The tape’s magnetic hook enables one-person measurements on metal surfaces and improves fastening stability during external and internal measurements. Dual tape locks provide reliable fixation of the blade at the required length, and the shock absorber reduces impact during retraction to extend component life. The two-material housing with non-slip rubber ensures a comfortable grip and greater resistance to mechanical damage, while the nylon-coated blade maintains legibility of markings over time.
Pull the blade out of the housing to the required length and engage one or both tape locks to secure the measurement. For measurements on metal objects, attach the magnetic hook to the surface before extending the blade to the desired point. After taking the reading, release the locks and allow the blade to retract slowly; the shock absorber will moderate retraction speed. Store the tape in its housing when not in use to protect the nylon-coated graduation from abrasion and to keep the tool clean and dry.
For accurate readings, ensure the blade is straight and free of kinks. Use the magnetic tip to stabilise the hook on steel surfaces for one-person measurements. Avoid dropping the tape measure from heights and keep it dry to preserve the housing and markings. Regularly inspect the blade and locks for wear, and replace the tool if the graduation becomes illegible or if locking mechanisms fail.
