Angle with base DIN875/2, 100 x 70 mm (NEO 72-031) is a precision measurement tool for setting and marking right angles. It is made from a single piece of carbon steel; the flat angle is specially hardened and polished to ensure high measurement accuracy. Both arms have identical thickness to maintain required precision. The longer arm measures 100 mm and the shorter arm 70 mm. Carbon steel construction provides high strength and durability.
The protractor provides exceptional and consistent precision for 90° settings thanks to hardened and polished surfaces. Manufactured as per DIN875/2 from carbon steel, the tool combines rigidity and wear resistance while remaining compact and easy to handle at a weight of approximately 176 g.
Place the flat angle against the workpiece so both arms rest firmly on the surfaces to be checked or marked. Ensure the hardened faces are clean and free of debris for accurate contact. Use a scribe or marking tool along the edge of the arm to transfer the 90° reference. For inspection, align one arm with a reference edge and check for gaps or misalignment along the opposite arm.
Store the protractor in a dry place to prevent corrosion of the carbon steel; avoid striking or dropping the tool to preserve the hardened faces. Clean surfaces before use and handle with care to maintain measurement accuracy.
