Protractor NEO tools 72-115 — 136 g, single-piece measurement tool
NEO tools 72-115 is a single-piece aluminium protractor and Japanese-style angle bevel weighing 136 g and designed for precise measuring and marking of angles on a variety of materials. With dimensions 72 x 155 x 215 x 62 mm and a rectangular geometry, this tool enables accurate measurements in corners and on three-dimensional workpieces such as beams and pipes. Built-in stops for 45° and 90° and a protractor scale allow straightforward angle layout, transfer and checking. The tool also functions as a 3D corner gauge and carpenter's marker for making parallel lines and can be used to determine drill bit diameter.
The single-piece aluminium construction combines low weight with rigidity for repeatable measurements and reduced flex during marking. Compact size and a 136 g weight make the tool easy to handle and carry on site. Rectangular geometry and dedicated 45°/90° stops simplify common woodworking and metalworking operations, while the protractor scale supports arbitrary angle transfer. The tool's design allows use on beams, pipes and other three-dimensional surfaces where flat squares are inadequate.
Place the NEO tools 72-115 against the workpiece so that the rectangular faces sit in the corner or on the surface to be measured. Use the built-in 45° or 90° stops where applicable, or align the protractor scale to the desired angle and mark directly through the scale or along the tool edge. For transferring angles to adjacent sides, position the tool in the corner, lock the reference edge and scribe the angle onto each face. To estimate drill bit diameter, insert the bit into the reference hole or compare the bit against the gauge surfaces until a match is achieved. Hold the tool steady while marking to ensure accuracy.
Keep the aluminium surface clean and free of debris to maintain measurement accuracy. Store the protractor flat or hung to avoid deformation. For repeated layout work, verify zero-reference using a calibrated square. When marking on painted or delicate surfaces, use a fine pencil or scribe and apply minimal pressure to avoid slipping.
