NEO Laser Rangefinder (model 75-204) is a compact distance meter with a maximum measuring range of 60 m, designed to measure distance, area and volume. The device supports direct and indirect measurements (using Pythagoras' theorem), continuous measurement, addition and subtraction of values, and maximum/minimum value capture. Measurements can be referenced from the front, middle or rear of the unit and displayed in metres, inches or feet. The rangefinder includes an automatic spirit level to display the angle position in real time, stores the last 30 measurements in memory, and offers a measurement accuracy of ±2 mm. It has an IP54 protection rating, CE certification, an adjustable sound volume and is supplied with a USB Type-C charging cable and wrist strap. Power is provided by two AA Ni‑MH rechargeable batteries or two AA alkaline batteries.
The NEO 75-204 combines a 60 m measuring range with compact dimensions (depth 120 mm) and light weight (96 g) for easy handling and transport. Its multifunctional measurement modes—including indirect (Pythagorean) measurement, continuous tracking and min/max capture—cover a wide range of tasks. Built-in memory for 30 readings, selectable measurement reference points and three unit options (m/in/ft) increase convenience. The automatic spirit level provides real-time angle feedback, while IP54 protection ensures basic dust and water resistance for typical jobsite conditions.
Point the laser at the desired target and start the measurement using the device controls. Select the appropriate measurement mode (distance, area, volume or indirect/Pythagoras) and the reference point (front, middle or rear) before taking a measurement. Use continuous mode for tracking changing distances or use max/min to capture extreme readings. Read the angle from the built-in spirit level display when measuring inclines. Results can be viewed in metres, inches or feet and recent readings are available from the device memory.
For best results, ensure the target surface is reflective enough for the laser, keep the device steady during measurement, and protect the rangefinder from heavy water exposure despite its IP54 rating. Use recommended AA Ni‑MH rechargeable batteries for repeated charging cycles and connect the included USB Type‑C cable for recharging as needed.
