The NEO laser rangefinder (ref. 75-206) is a compact measuring device with a maximum range of 100 m, designed to measure distance, area and volume. It supports indirect distance measurement using Pythagoras' theorem, continuous measurement, addition and subtraction of values, and maximum/minimum measurements. Measurements can be referenced from the front, middle or back of the device and displayed in metres, inches or feet. The unit includes an automatic spirit level for continuous readout of the device's angle, stores the last 30 measurements and offers a measurement accuracy of ±2 mm. The instrument has IP54 protection and CE certification. Power is supplied by two AA Ni‑MH rechargeable batteries or two AA alkaline batteries. The package contains a USB Type‑C charging cable and a wrist strap.

How to use

Switch on the rangefinder and select the desired measurement mode (distance, area, volume or indirect/Pythagoras). Choose the reference point (front, middle or back) and the preferred unit (m/in/ft). Aim at the target, press the measurement button to take single or continuous readings, and use addition/subtraction functions as needed to combine values. For angled measurements, use the automatic spirit level readout to monitor the device angle and apply indirect measurement mode for Pythagorean calculations. Results are stored automatically in memory; access the last 30 measurements through the memory recall function. Replace or recharge the two AA batteries as required; recharge Ni‑MH cells using the supplied USB Type‑C cable.

Recommendations

For best accuracy, ensure the target surface provides a clear laser reflection and avoid measuring in heavy rain or through glass. Keep the lens clean and store the device in a dry place when not in use. When using rechargeable cells, follow manufacturer instructions for charging and avoid mixing battery types.
