Pyrometer NEO tools 75-276
NEO infrared pyrometer (temperature estimating instrument, -50°C to 880°C / -58°F to 1616°F, model 75-276) provides accurate non-contact measurement of cold and hot surfaces with an accuracy of ±1.5% + 1°C. The device features an adjustable emissivity coefficient (0.1–1.00) and a measurement range suitable for food industry, refrigeration, HVAC, automotive and industrial maintenance, electrical inspections, and building diagnostics. The unit is battery powered and offers selectable Celsius or Fahrenheit display; it is not a medical instrument.
The pyrometer enables safe, non-contact temperature checks of surfaces across a wide range, with adjustable emissivity for better accuracy on different materials. Its backlit display and selectable units simplify readings in varied working conditions. Lightweight and easy to operate, the device includes laser aiming to target measurement points and automatic shutdown to conserve battery life.
Aim the pyrometer at the surface to be measured, using the laser pointer to align the target if necessary. Maintain an appropriate distance according to the 12:1 optical resolution so the measurement spot fits the target area. Select Celsius or Fahrenheit on the device, press the measurement trigger and read the temperature on the backlit display. Adjust emissivity when measuring materials with known emissivity values for improved accuracy. Remove hands from the beam path and avoid measuring through transparent materials such as glass. After use, power off or allow automatic shutdown to save battery life.
For best results, consult material emissivity tables when measuring metals or reflective surfaces and ensure the target area is free of steam, dust, or obstructions. Use the pyrometer within the specified operating temperature range and store it in a dry, moderate environment. The product is intended for professional and industrial use; it is not suitable for medical diagnostics.
