EtherScope nXG is a handheld Ethernet network tester and WiFi diagnostics tool for deploying, maintaining, monitoring and analyzing wired and wireless access networks. The device supports Ethernet testing up to 10G, WiFi 6/6E surveying, Bluetooth/BLE diagnostics, and integrates with the Link-Live reporting and analysis platform for topology mapping, test data management and remote collaboration. The portable analyzer includes an Android-based interface, dedicated Ethernet and WiFi radios, and optional spectrum analysis capability with the NXT Portable Spectrum Analyzer adapter.

How to use

Power on the EtherScope nXG and use the Android-based home screen to select the required test app for Ethernet, WiFi or Bluetooth/BLE diagnostics. For Ethernet performance verification, connect the appropriate SFP or RJ‑45 interface and run link tests up to 10G or run LANBERT media qualification to assess cable performance. For WiFi surveys, launch AirMapper™ Site Survey in active or passive mode and collect data while walking the site to generate heatmaps via Link-Live or AirMagnet Survey PRO. Use the Link-Live platform to upload results, view automatically generated topology maps, and enable remote engineers to review test data and collaborate with onsite technicians.
