The Netatmo Smart Rain Gauge is a compact, battery-powered sensor that measures rainfall intensity and cumulative precipitation in real time. Designed as an add-on to a Netatmo Weather Station, it sends rainfall data to your smartphone and stores historical measurements for hourly, daily and monthly review. The rain gauge is weather-resistant, small (130 × 130 × 110 mm) and operates on AAA batteries.

Mount the Netatmo Smart Rain Gauge outdoors within 100 metres of the Weather Station’s indoor module and insert fresh AAA batteries. Pair the device with your Netatmo system following the app instructions, then position it on a level surface free from obstructions that could block rainfall. Once installed and connected, rainfall measurements will appear in the Netatmo app in real time and will be stored for historical review.

Usage recommendations

For optimal accuracy, place the rain gauge away from trees, roofs or walls that could shield it from rain. Replace batteries as needed and periodically clean debris from the funnel to ensure reliable measurements.
