Patch cable NETRACK BZPAT3UG Cat5e U/UTP RJ-45–RJ-45, 3 m, green
NETRACK BZPAT3UG Cat5e U/UTP RJ-45–RJ-45 patch cable, 3 m, green is a flexible network cable intended for Ethernet and data connections in offices, server cabinets and home networks. Constructed to Cat5e performance with unshielded U/UTP twisted pairs and RJ-45 connectors on both ends, this 3-meter lead supports Gigabit-capable links where Cat5e cabling is appropriate. The green outer jacket simplifies visual identification and organised cable routing within patch panels and racks.
The cable provides Cat5e-level transmission suitable for up to 1 Gbps network segments in typical structured cabling scenarios. Its U/UTP unshielded construction offers flexibility and straightforward installation in managed environments without the need for additional grounding. Factory-terminated RJ-45 plugs at both ends ensure consistent connector quality and fast plug-and-play deployment. The coloured jacket aids cable management by making runs easy to trace among multiple cables.
Route the 3 m patch cable between the two network ports to be connected, ensuring the RJ-45 plugs are fully inserted until the latch clicks. Avoid sharp bends and compressive forces on the cable near the connector boots to maintain signal integrity. For best performance, keep the cable away from strong electromagnetic interference sources and do not run it in parallel with mains power wiring for extended distances.
For organised installations, label both ends and use coloured patch panels or cable ties to match the green jacket with a specific network segment or service. Replace the cable if the connector latch or jacket is damaged, and verify link speed and duplex settings after installation to confirm expected Cat5e performance.
