Patch cable NETRACK BZPAT5F5E Cat5e F/UTP (FTP) RJ-45–RJ-45 5 m Grey
NETRACK BZPAT5F5E is a 5 m Cat5e patch cable with F/UTP (FTP) foil shielding and RJ-45 connectors at both ends. Designed for Ethernet data and voice transmission, this grey patch lead supports standard Cat5e networks and provides improved resistance to electromagnetic interference due to its foil shield. The cable is intended for connecting switches, routers, patch panels and workstations in office and home network environments, offering straightforward compatibility with existing Cat5e terminations.
The foil-shielded F/UTP (FTP) construction reduces external electromagnetic and radio-frequency interference, improving signal integrity in environments with potential noise sources. Standard RJ-45 connectors at both ends ensure plug-and-play compatibility with typical networking equipment, while the 5 m length provides flexibility for structured cabling runs without excess slack. The grey jacket offers a neutral appearance that suits professional installations.
Insert each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding Ethernet port of your devices until the connector latch clicks. Use one end to connect to a switch, router or patch panel and the other end to a workstation, access point or network outlet. Ensure connectors are fully seated and avoid tight bending radii near the ends to maintain signal quality. For best performance, keep the cable away from strong sources of electrical noise and route it alongside other network cabling or through cable management systems.
For reliable operation, avoid sharp bends and kinks, maintain a bend radius of at least four times the cable diameter, and do not exceed manufacturer-recommended pull tension when routing. When installing in environments with heavy interference, consider using additional grounded shielding or higher-category shielded cabling if required by the infrastructure.
