The PROND EX filters use HOYA's clear optical glass and ACCU-ND metallic coating on both sides to reduce light across the spectrum, including infrared, while keeping a neutral color balance. How to use

Attach the selected PROND EX filter to the lens thread and compose the shot. Use PROND EX 8 to allow wide-aperture shooting in daylight for shallow depth of field; use PROND EX 64 for pronounced motion blur and daytime long exposures; use PROND EX 1000 (10 stops) for extreme long exposures such as smoothing waves or erasing moving people. Filters can be combined to increase light reduction (for example PROND EX 8 + PROND EX 64 equals around ND500 effect; PROND EX 8 + PROND EX 1000 equals around ND8000 effect). When shooting video, match shutter speed to frame rate and use the ND filters to control exposure without raising ISO.

Usage recommendations
