Description

The Nilfisk SC351 walk-behind floor scrubber-drier is a battery-powered cleaning machine designed for efficient floor maintenance in various indoor commercial spaces. Equipped with a disc brush and gel batteries, this compact black and grey unit delivers a maximum input power of 450 W and features a 260 W traction motor. It achieves an area performance of 890 square meters per hour and offers an operating time of up to 90 minutes. Engineered for versatility, the machine supports both forward and backward scrubbing and drying, making it suitable for navigating tight and restricted layouts.

Advantages

This floor scrubber-drier provides reliable performance backed by advanced cleaning technology, ensuring consistent maintenance results on hard floors. The robust brush pressure of 27 kg allows for effective dirt removal in heavily trafficked zones. Its compact and manageable design ensures that operators can easily maneuver the unit around obstacles without excessive physical strain. The dual forward and backward operation further enhances cleaning efficiency in confined layouts where turning space is limited.

Suitable for

Cleaning hotel lobbies and guest corridors
Maintaining hygiene in school classrooms and hallways
Daily floor care in small retail shops and boutiques
Cleaning office reception areas and workspaces
Washing floors in canteens and coffee shops

When it may not be suitable

This machine may not be appropriate for cleaning large industrial warehouses or extensive open-plan manufacturing facilities where higher area coverage per hour is required. Due to its compact battery-powered design, it is also not suited for continuous multi-shift heavy-duty outdoor cleaning operations on rough or unpaved surfaces.

Key specifications

Maximum input power: 450 W
Traction motor power: 260 W
Area performance: 890 m²/h
Operating time: Up to 90 minutes
Brush pressure: 27 kg
Color: Black, Grey
Weight: 42 kg
Power source: Gel batteries
Brush type: Disc brush

How to use

Prepare the machine by ensuring the gel batteries are fully charged and the clean water tank is filled with water and appropriate detergent solution. Position the unit on the floor, release the traction controls, and select the desired scrubbing and drying mode. Guide the walk-behind scrubber in forward or backward directions across the surface, allowing the disc brush and vacuum system to wash and dry the floor simultaneously. Empty and clean the recovery tank and rinse the brush deck after each cleaning session to maintain optimal performance.

What to consider before purchase

Verify that the 90-minute operating time meets your daily facility cleaning requirements
Confirm that the 890 m²/h area performance matches the size of your cleaning area
Check doorway widths and elevator dimensions to ensure smooth transit of the 42 kg unit
Ensure access to a suitable charging station for the gel batteries

Usage recommendations: Regularly inspect the disc brush and squeegee blades for wear, and clean the recovery tank after every use to maintain optimal hygiene and prolong the lifespan of the machine.
