Battery Charger Nitecore UMS4 DC 12V Compatible with LiFePO4 Li-Ion NiCd
Battery Charger Nitecore UMS4 DC 12V Compatible with LiFePO4 Li-Ion NiCd
The Nitecore UMS4 DC 12V battery charger is a compact, multi-chemistry household charger compatible with LiFePO4, Li‑Ion and NiCd cells. Designed to accept a 12V DC input and provide a regulated 4.3V output per channel, this black four‑slot charger supports common cylindrical and button sizes including AA, AAA, AAAA, C and D. With CE and FCC certification and a small footprint (107 mm × 41 mm × 159 mm), the UMS4 is intended for safe everyday charging of rechargeable batteries used in household electronics, flashlights, toys and other portable devices.
The charger accommodates up to four batteries simultaneously, enabling efficient batch charging. Its support for multiple chemistries — LiFePO4, Li‑Ion and NiCd — offers flexibility across different battery types. Compact dimensions and a light weight around 0.255 kg make the unit easy to store and transport. Built‑in safety and compliance marks (CE, FCC) indicate adherence to standard safety and electromagnetic compatibility requirements. The 12V DC input and stable 4.3V output provide a consistent charging profile suitable for the supported battery formats.
Place the unit on a stable, flat surface and insert batteries into the appropriate slots according to polarity markings. Connect a stable 12V DC power source to the charger's input. The charger provides a regulated 4.3V output suitable for the supported chemistries; monitor charging progress according to the indicator behaviour of the device. After charging is complete, disconnect the DC source and remove batteries. Avoid inserting non-rechargeable cells or mismatched chemistries in the same charging slot to prevent damage.
Use a certified 12V DC adapter rated for the charger's current requirements and place the charger in a well-ventilated area away from direct heat or moisture. Charge batteries of the same chemistry and similar capacity together, and inspect cells for damage before charging. Follow manufacturer guidelines for each battery type to ensure safe, long service life.
